Question

After the first COVID-19 wave, contact tracing was essential to keep the infection process under control. For Hospitality Digital, it quickly became clear that restaurant owners and their guests would need a digital solution here.

Launched in August 2020, DISH Guest was one of the first COVID-19 contact tracing apps on the market. The app enables encrypted, anonymous and GDPR-compliant contact data storage as well as fast and complete transmission to the health authorities. With DISH Guest, business owners can generate a QR code for their venue or even individual QR codes per table, allowing guests to check-in via smartphone. In addition, guests can view a digital menu and leave a review before leaving the premises.
