Team spirit and collaboration at the Digital Loop Get-Together
At the beginning of October, we had our two-day get-together at Digital Loop - the ideal opportunity to welcome new team members and strengthen existing connections. Especially for our new colleagues who work remotely, this was a perfect way to get to know the team better. At the same time, it gave the others the chance to catch up with old contacts in a relaxed atmosphere and deepen their relationships outside of their day-to-day work.
A relaxed start and intensive dialogue
Our event began with an original round of introductions: instead of introducing ourselves, another colleague took over. This led to in-depth conversations right from the start and the atmosphere became much more personal. We then got to know even more about our colleagues in small groups - information that you would probably never have learnt in normal working life. One method we used was the ‘36 questions to fall in love with’. Questions like ‘Would you like to be famous? And if so, what for?’ provided exciting insights and helped to break down inhibitions.
Once an open and friendly atmosphere had been created in the introductory round, we moved on to the content-related topics. Our focus was on developing sustainable solutions for the future that would strengthen our corporate culture. It was not just about driving projects forward, but also about developing long-term strategies that create a positive working environment. Everyone was invited to contribute ideas, which were then developed further in lively discussions.
Dinner in a special atmosphere
In the evening, we rounded off the day with a cosy meal together. Alfredo invited us to his home, and the atmosphere there was of course very different from our offices. This relaxed environment gave us the opportunity to catch up with colleagues we might not have spoken to all day. It was the perfect moment to reflect on the day and grow even closer on a personal level.
Team building with fun
The second day was all about team building and was a lot of fun. As well as continuing to work on our projects, we started with the wind turbine challenge, where we developed creative ideas in small groups and had a lot of laughs. But that wasn't all: the second challenge was an outdoor scavenger hunt, where our teams gave free rein to their creativity - and even our otherwise more technical colleagues took on the task with humour and enthusiasm. While exploring and solving various tasks, the daily grind was quickly forgotten and the time spent together provided plenty of laughs. The points from both challenges were added up at the end and the winning team was celebrated to great applause and with a special award - a perfect end to our get-together.
A strong signal for our corporate culture
This event has once again shown what Digital Loop is all about as an employer. It's not just about completing tasks, but about creating a working environment in which everyone feels comfortable and sees themselves as part of a larger whole. Sharing ideas and working together makes our team strong, and events like this show that each individual makes an important contribution. Together we can grow and be successful.
Special thanks to the entire team - without your cooperation and commitment, these two days would not have been so successful and enriching. We look forward to many more shared experiences and the challenges ahead!
