Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d)

To join our dynamic international team, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d). This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who is passionate about innovation, technology, and delivering exceptional digital experiences.

Main responsibilities

• Hands-on Coding: Engage directly in coding, debugging, and refining software applications to meet high standards of quality and performance
• Customize and Optimize: Create tailored, efficient solutions to improve system performance and enhance digital capabilities, ensuring optimal functionality
• Technical Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges, applying innovative approaches to push the boundaries of what’s possible
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, our customers and other developers, to integrate and optimize digital solutions effectively
• Committed to learning new technologies and evaluating their relevance for projects, while also enjoying sharing knowledge with colleagues

Technical expertise

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar
• Strong focus on quality, developing robust software (Clean Code, Testing, CI/CD) aimed at automating (distributed) data processing
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Expertise in working with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with Marketing technologies is a plus
